Wellness Care: Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of a quarterly (three-monthly) physical examination - this is just like you, or I, visiting the GP for a check up every two years. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems.

We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  
      
Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
   
Anaesthesia:  We utilise the safest available anaesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anaesthetic procedures.
    
Internal medicine consults: We offer referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures as well as CT and MRI scans.
   
Radiology Services:  We use the latest in modern digital X-ray equipment in our surgery to provide high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. Direct digital radiology gives us a diagnostic quality x-ray picture within seconds, rather than hours as is often the case with traditional film based radiology. We have specialist dental x-ray equipment to enable us to provide the best service to our patients.
      
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery, as well as advanced dental procedures such as endodontics and orthodontics performed by our veterinary dental consultants.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, haematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilise commercial veterinary laboratories for specialised diagnostics and consultations.
    
Permanent identification: We offer tattooing and microchip identification.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We can also supply a full line of prescription diets.
   
Individualised Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counselling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
    
Behavioural Counselling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. We work closely with specialist, accredited dog trainers to help make your relationship even more rewarding.

 Emergency Care:  During business hours we are equipped to handle both minor and major emergency cases. After hours we refer to the Animal Emergency Service, a dedicated after-hours emergency facility.
